On the 1st of April, SBS has confirmed that Montaigne will have another chance to sing on the Eurovision stage. In fact, the news was not an April Fool’s joke.
Yesterday, Montaigne revealed that she has already written the song with which she will compete in Eurovision 2021.
The news came to light through the singer’s personal Twitter account and you can see it below:

Australia Decides does not stop, as stated by the Australian head of delegation, Josh Martin, in 2022 will return as a method for selecting the song with whom Australia will compete in the contest.
The above news of course means that we will have to wait a year (and something) for the possible return of Dami Im to the Eurovision stage. As she had stated at Australia Decides 2020, where she appeared as a guest, she revealed that would participate in next year’s national final. But the direct assignment to Montaigne means that this will be possible in 2022.
