Junior Eurovision 2022: Watched by 33 million viewers!

EBU has revealed that the Junior Eurovision 2022 broadcast received 33 million views in 13 measured markets. The average TV audience reached 7.9 million viewers, the third largest number for the competition since 2011.

Some interesting facts:

  • 4 in 10 Armenians tuned in to watch the competition sometime in the afternoon.
  • 10 of the 13 markets received a larger-than-usual number of viewers in that time slot.
  • Poland, Italy, France and Spain exceeded their average number of views by 1 million.
  • An audience share of 18.5% was recorded among children aged 4 to 14 years.

Online, the show received over 500,000 views on the official livestream on YouTube.

Junior Eurovision 2022

The 20th Edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place on December 11th at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan, Armenia. The winner of Junior Eurovision 2022 was France with Lissandro and the song “Oh Maman!”.
