Εurovision 2023: Ukraine 19th and the United Kingdom 26th in Grand Final!

As announced through the official Eurovision Song Contest social media page, Ukraine and the United Kingdom will appear in the 19th and 26th places of the grand final respectively.

The draw was overseen by Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl at the Heads of Mission meeting in Liverpool on Monday 13 March.

Heads of Delegation Oksana Skybinska (Ukraine) and Adam Wydrzynski (United Kingdom) tossed a coin to decided who would pick for their opposite delegation first. Oksana won the coin toss (choosing ‘heads’) and decided she would draw the United Kingdom’s starting position first – she drew 26th for Mae Muller. It was then Adam’s chance to randomly draw Ukraine’s position – he drew 19th for TVORCHI.

Ukraine automatically qualifies to the Grand Final in 2023; they will perform from the 19th place!

Mae Muller will be representing the United Kingdom in Liverpool with I Wrote A Song, performing 26th during the show.
