Eurovision 2023: The viewing figures of the Grand Final in Italy and Germany!

A few hours ago the 67th Eurovision 2023 Song Contest came to an end!

The winner was Sweden with Loreen and the song “Tattoo”. The Grand Final on Saturday night, scored high ratings in Italy and Germany. Viewers had the opportunity to enjoy a great show and together we all remember that what unites all nations is music.

In detail, the viewing figures in Italy and Germany were as follows:

Italy

Almost 5 million people watched the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy.

4.9 million viewers watched Italy and Marco Mengoni with his song “Due Vite” finishing in 4th place in the contest on Rai 1. The market share was 34%. If we exclude 2022, the year Italy hosted the competition, this is the most watched grand final on Rai 1.

Germany

Almost 8 million people tuned into ONE to watch the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest last night.

Channel ONE attracted 7.96 million viewers for the final of the competition, an increase of over 1 million compared to last year’s figures. Market share was 66.9%. There were also an additional 958,000 live broadcasts recorded on the ARD website, but these cannot be counted in the viewing figures. Germany was represented by Lord of The Lost and their song “Blood and Glitter”. The band finished in last place in the grand final with 18 points.

 

The ratings for this year’s competition that we know so far are as follows:

Italy – 4.9 million

Germany – 7.96 million

United Kingdom – 11 million
