Kazakhstan: Withdraws from Junior Eurovision 2023!

The first country that announces their withdrawal from the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is Kazakhstan!

After a satisfactory debut in 2018 (6th place) and two consecutive second places in 2019 and 2020 the national broadcaster of Kazakhstan announced according to EUROVISION NEWS post on Instagram, that they won’t take part in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023  in Nice, France!

Last year Kazakhstan was represented by David Charlin and the song “Jer-Ana (Mother Earth)” (Жер-Ана)”. The country ended up in the 15th place with 47 points.
