Through my love of music and Eurovision, I managed to “journalize”, even in this way. From 2015 I write articles in Greek and English websites dedicated to our favourite competition, while I attended all the latest editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. In the summer of 2018, along with Ioannis Paschalidis, we decided creation EurovisionFun. The first ever Greek-English eurovision site!

Medical doctor, lover of statistics and polyglot. A fan of the eurovision song contest for many years. My first memory of the contest is Sofia Vossou in 1991 when I was still a toddler. Hey everyone! It’s Gos, a final year drama school student who happened to love Eurovision, art and creativity. Taking all of those in account I created a YouTube channel with my best friend, Yiota, to do what we love most, Eurovision! And let me tell you a little story, my friendship with Yiota started at a Eurovision Party in 2010 and that’s how Eurovision buddies were born, because Eurovision is not just a contest!
Hello everybody! My name is Yiota Kastriti and I’ve just graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Architecture. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Cyprus and the first time I remember myself watching the Eurovision song contest was in 2001 at the young age of 8. Since then it has captivated me and has become a part of my life. Along with my best friend Gos, we’ve created a Youtube channel called Eurovision Buddies where we share our love and passion for this amazing event.
Hi, I’m Angelos from Sweden. I have been following Eurovision every year since early childhood. What initially got me attracted to Eurovision was the variety of languages we got introduced to through music. My first ever memory goes back to 1988 when I was watching ESC together with my parents. I knew all songs by heart that year and it must have been then when I fell in love with the contest. It was also the first year that I actually recorded ESC in video and haven’t missed a single contest since. Never in the pre-internet period did I ever imagine that I one day would somehow be part of it, connected with so many other people with same interest, sharing our devotion and love for the contest, sharing thoughts or discussing favorite songs, let alone attend live to a contest myself – which I finally did for the first time in 2006, in Athens. It was an amazing feeling and atmospheare in the arena and a new startpoint in my Eurovision journey experiencing all this live. Since then I have again attended Eurovision in 2016 and 2018.
My name is Fotis and my surname Kourovanis. Or more simply fkourou! Born in the mid-80s and with intense “family” musical influences, music almost fatally followed me from my early age. Getting guitar and vocal lessons from a young age,Eurovision was expected to catch my attention. As far as the journalism concerns, professional and scientific reasons, as an internationalist-economist, have given me the opportunity to write frequently. So with Eurovision combining the music and the journalism , I almost had to “accept” this challenge and take the opportunity. So, here I am, Eurofuns!
My name is Ioannis Ampatzidis and I am currently an undergraduate student in the department of Political Sciences at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I have been an avid Eurovision fan ever since childhood and my first columnist attempt, related to Eurovision, took place in 2010 in my school newspaper. EurovisionFun provides me the chance of editorializing about the contest that I love since I was a little kid and fascinates every May millions of people worldwide. We will spend together the next few months, providing you a valid and timely briefing about what happens in the magical world of Eurovision. The journey begins, get ready!
Hello! My name is Christina, but they call me Christy. For me Eurovision is a tradition, as I remember since childhood the “unwritten rule” my mom set up to open TV on 10.00 P.M at ERT every year on a Saturday of May. It’s the fundamental element of my character, because I have learned in the most enchanting way the values of diversity, interculturalism, of learning foreign languages, which to date are accompanying me. It’s my hobby, thanks to which I find my lost energy in difficult moments! I will try to promote these three elements through my work and … good luck to me!
PS: Excuse my momentum for Eurovision news coming from Russia, but Dima Bilan and Sergey Lazarev are my great weaknesses!
My name is Theodore Palaskas and I am 20 years old. I am studying at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as both diplomacy and developments on the international political scene are my passion. As passion is Eurovision, too. For many years May has gained a special interest through the ESC and I am very happy to be part of the Eurovisionfun team. The competition and the creativity of the Contest are elements that keep me grounded every year. “A Monster Like Me” (Norway 2015) is my favorite song, with special preference to the German entries as well.
My name is Konstantinos Chalkos, I live in Athens, I am 26 years old and I am a student in the Informatics and Telecommunications Department of EKPA university of Athens. With my studies we didn’t always find it and somewhere in the middle of our relationship came the culinary arts school I graduated from in mid-2018. In my spare time I enjoy painting and watching foreign series. I loved Eurovision in 2001 with Antique in 2001 and have been following it intensively ever since. My all time favourite entry, is definitely the 2015 Norwegian song.
