With a post in their social media, and especially Facebook, the team of “Atelier Francesca Montinaro” anoounced that they will be the stage designers for Eurovision 2022! This is the first time since 2016 that we will see a different team in this role. From 2016-2021, Florian Weilder was responsible for the stage designing of the contest.
In their Facebook post, the team mentioned:
“It’s official.
Atelier Francesca Montinaro will be the stage designers for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin.
It was a hard race that we competed with very much excitment and strong feelings. A chase that used to keep us awake until the very first morning hours. But it was worth all that because RAI chose us at the end of the day. We received this letter with very much honour and we will work hard to give Italy a stage that will show the Italian soul to the whole Europe and world.
We would love to say more, even more, but we cannot reveal any details. From now on, months of hard but beautiful work begin to reach the grand opening of the third edition of Eurovision in Italy.
See you in May!”
The team is not amateur and definetely not new to Italian fans as they were also the stage designers for Sanremo 2013 and 2019.
You can see more of their amazing work in the official website.
Stay tuned in Eurovisionfun for all the latest updates of Eurovision 2022!
