Albania: Submissions for the 62nd Festivali i Këngës are officially open!

Today marked the start of the 62nd Festivali i Këngës entry period, which will, as usual, take place in December.

The Albanian broadcaster RTSH opened the submissions window today.   As anticipated, the Balkan nation will once more select its artist through the popular festival, which has been utilized as a selection method since the country’s debut almost 20 years ago. Those interested shall send their submissions on the following email address: festivali62@rtsh.al.  The announcement, however, did not specify a deadline.

In only a few months we will find out who will be the successor of Albina and Familja Kelmendi. Will Albania be able to surpass their 22nd-place finish from the previous year? The new Eurovision season has officially kicked off!
