Netherlands: Eurovision in Concert 2023 takes place tonight in Amsterdam!

Eurovision in Concert 2023 takes place in The Netherlands tonight , with 29 of this year’s entrants performing live.

The concert will be hosted by Cornald Maas and Hila Noorzai. Cornald has been the Dutch Eurovision commentator since 2006. Hila is a radio DJ and member of the committee that selected this year’s Dutch representatives (Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper). She also hosted the Eurovision 2021 press conference in Rotterdam.

Lithuania: LRT reveals plans to promote Monika Linkytė!

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has started a campaign called “Pridainuojam Europą” (Singing Europe).  The idea behind this plan is to show support to the Lithuanian representative for Eurovsion Monika Linkytė.

Pridainuojam Europą is bringing together smaller and bigger choirs to sing the phrase “čiūto tūto” from the Lithuanian song “Stay”.  If you want to participate in this initiative you have to go to and send a clip of you singing this part of the song.  There you can find a karaoke of the song to help0 the participants to sing this part with their choir.

The short videos can be submitted between April 11th and 28th.

According to the guidelines of LRT, it is recommended to record the video without any background music (preferably a cappella).  LRT will share the submitted videos on television, radio and the internet.

LRT has also created the hashtag #pridainuojamEuropa to show support for Monika on social media.  This is part of the promotion plans of the broadcaster to their Eurovision representative.

Monika Linkytė is representing Lithuania for a second time after her 2015 Eurovision participation together with Vaidas Baumila.  She is set to perform in the Second semifinal on 11 May.

Poland: The Polish Eurovision Party 2023 is today!

Today, for the second year in a row, the Polish Eurovision Party 2023 will take place in Warsaw. The hosts of the evening will be Poli Genova (Bulgaria 2011 & 2016) and Konrad Zemlik (the organizer of the event).

At this year’s Polish pre-party, twenty-five artists will appear, who are participating in this year’s Eurovision or have participated in the past.

The Eurovision 2023 entrants who will perform tonight are:

Lithuania:Monika Linkyte has shot her postcard for Eurovision 2023!

Monika Linkyte, Lithuania’s representative at Eurovision 2023, has just finished her Eurovision 2023 postcard shooting!

The Lithuanian representative confirmed through her social media accounts the fact that she has filmed the postcard that will be shown just before her Eurovision 2023 performance.The singer did not unveil the location nor the filming scenario of the postcard,but instead,she just revealed how she did the filming.

Monika Linkyte is no stranger to the Eurovision stage as she previously represented Lithuania in 2015, alongside Vaudas Baumila.Her previous entry called “This time” reached the 18th place in the final that took place in Vienna and she really hopes to reach the final once again this year.

Monika Linkyte is competing with her song “Stay”,which contains some lyrics in Lithuanian,in the second semi-final of this year’s Eurovision that is scheduled to take place on May 11:

Lithuania: Preparations for Liverpool have started!

Monika Linkytė, Lithuania’s representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, started her preparation for her performance on Liverpool’s stage, as she herself revealed on her social media platforms. Specifically, she shared some of her photos taken into a dance studio, in which Liverpool’s stage is shown to be marked, in order for her better positioning on stage.

Linkytė, besides her rehearsals for her on stage performance during May, has confirmed her presence at the following Eurovision Pre-Parties

Monika Linkytė mentions that she feels extremely happy but impatient as well for her own participation in the oncoming contest. However this is not going to be her very first experience from the Eurovision Song Contest, since she has already represented her own country once more, back in 2015 as a member of the duet along with Vaudas Baumila, singing the song “This Time” which ended up in the 18th place.

Remember that Monika Linkytė came at the first place of Lithuania’s national final format called Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 and she is going to perform her song “Stay” during the second half of the second semi-final on May 11th.

As it had became known, last week, Monika Linkytė won the National Final “Pabandom iš Naujo! 2023” of Lithuania, claiming her ticket on Liverpool and Eurovision 2023.

Lithuania: With Monika Linkytė and “Stay” in Liverpool!

Lithuania has completed the search for its representative and entry for Eurovision 2023. “Pabandom iš Naujo! 2023” as the Lithuanian public television process is now called, consists of two qualifying rounds, two semi-finals and one final. A few minutes ago, the grand final with 10 contestants was completed.

The presenters of the evening were Giedraus Masalskis and Augustė Nombeko. In the Green Room the presenter was Richard Jonaitis.

Tonight the Lithuanian audience had the chance to watch the live performances and vote for their favourites and the jury has already voted. The result was determined 50% by the jury voting and 50% by the teloevote.

Lithuania: The results of Semi-Final 2 of “Pabandom iš naujo! 2023”!

Lithuania has started seeking its representative and participation for Eurovision 2023“Pabandom iš Naujo! 2023”, as the Lithuanian public television process is now called, consists of two qualifying rounds (Heats), two semi-finals and a final. A few minutes ago, the Second Semi-Final was completed, with ten contestants qualifying for the next phase of the Grand Final.

The presenters of the evening were Giedraus Masalskis and Augustė Nombeko. In the Green Room the presenter was Richard Jonaitis.

The jury is composed of:
  • Duncan Laurence (Winner & Dutch Representative in Eurovision 2019)
  • Vaidotas Valiukevičius (The Roop – Lithuanian Representative in Eurovision 2020 & 2021)

Beatrich with the song  “Like a Movie”  was crowned as the winner of the Second Semi-Final, having gotten the first place by the jury voting and the third place by the TV audience.

Lithuania: Monika Linkytė and Artūras Aleksiejus-Alekas have withdrawn from the national selection!

Monika Linkytė, that had represented Lithuania in Eurovision 2015 along with Vaidas Baumila, commented to, that she has to withdraw from the national selection, due to a health condition.

I have a cold, I am sick and now unfortunately I have to refrain from singing for a while. It is quite unfortunate and sad, but in this case the most important things are my voice and my health.

Artūro Aleksiejaus-Alekas also commented to that finally he won’t compete in Pabandom naujo, avoiding to comment in detail.

Personal issues, I wouldn’t like to elaborate more about this in public.

Last week, due to some unforeseen events, the group “Baltas pegasas” could not perform on stage, but we will see them perform in the third qualifying show.

We remind you that the six artists that have already qualified are the following:

The second qualifying show will take place on Saturday, the 15th of January at 20:00 CET!

Pabandom naujo 2022 comprises six shows in total. In the beginning there are three heats, with the first heat having been aired on January the 8th, moving on to two semi-finals and then ends with the selection of the Lithuanian entry in the grand final. The winner will be decided by 50% televoting combined with 50% jury voting.
