Alban Ramosaj: “I will participate in FiK again only if the communists leave the jury!

We had a sharp statement from Alban Ramosaj, second in the last FiK, although a big favorite for the victory and the representation of Albania in Turin. The young artist, answering to his fans, whether he would participate in FiK again, answered categorically no, saying that he would only do so if the communists on its jury left!

Alban noted that it would be easier to claim the representation of San Marino or Spain than to submit participation in FiK again. He even reminded his followers that even Gjon’s Tears, who was about to win Eurovision, refused his song in Albania and so he finally submitted his entry to Switzerland.

Today is the first day of the Eurovision week! We can already hear the “Sound of Music” echoing from Pala Olimpico in Turin and it’s just a few days before we finally know who is actually going to win the 66th Eurovision Song Contest!

The dress rehearsal of the Eurovision 2022 First Semi Final has just started. EurovisionFun will be watching all the shows live at both the on-site press centre in Turin and at the online press centre and we will be covering this rehearsal, commenting on all the performances and describing in detail what is happening during the show.

Eurovision 2022: Albania’s Second Rehearsal!

Today,  the second rehearsals for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest are going to be held in Turin officially starting today. First to take the stage for their second rehearsal is Albania, with Ronela Hajati and the song “Sekret“.

Who is Ronela Hajati?

Ronela Hajati was born in September 2, 1989 in Tirana, Albania. She was interested in music from a very young age, Ronela studied ballet and piano and took part in a variety of song and dance contests before making a career in the music industry. Ronela is known for her diversity in music, style and performance. She took part in a lot of Albanian song and dance contests, like Top Fest and Kënga Magjike, and this year she managed to win the 60th Festivali I Këngës, a beloved annual show in Albania, and has more recently been used to select the country’s Eurovision entries. Hajati triumphed over 19 other acts, with some of the brightest names in music amongst them.

The rehearsal

Ronela wears different clothes, this time in white. The choreography remains the same and the performance sgtarts with close ups to Ronela and her dancers, while in the first chorus the female dancer enters the stage as well. There is some smoke coming out in various parts of her performance. Ronela also had a small problem with her microphone and ear piece. As for her three runs, we would say that her second run was the best.

Albania: Changes in Ronela’s choreography?

It seems that it is difficult to have Eurovision without drama! The photos from yesterday’s rehearsal of Albania in the official account of the Eurovision Contest were deleted and replaced by others.

Fans speculate that the reason is a photo that was used as a cover and was considered provocative:

Is something wrong here? The first pictures of Ronela Hajati were deleted from the official page of Eurovision and now they have been republished with cut pictures while she is dancing with Klaudia Pepa and their hands are going down! You are trying to do something that has never happened before in your country and EBU considers it too much for a family show, when we had two women kissing on stage at Eurovision 2013, writing history. I will take this personally!

There are also rumors that EBU asked the Albanian delegation to change the choreography, because it was considered too provocative. (This post has been deleted from Twitter).

Ronela Hajati herself posted this reaction on her Twitter account a little earlier:

The second rehearsal of Albania will take place on Wednesday 4/5 so we will have a better picture of what we will see from Ronela on the stage of the competition and we will see if there are any changes in the choreography.

Eurovision 2022: Albania’s First Rehearsal!

The time for all Eurofans has come! Today,  the rehearsals for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest are going to be held in Turin officially. First to take the stage of this years Eurovision Song Contest is Albania, with Ronela Hajati and the song “Sekret“.

Who is Ronela Hajati?

Ronela Hajati was born in September 2, 1989 in Tirana, Albania. She was interested in music from a very young age, Ronela studied ballet and piano and took part in a variety of song and dance contests before making a career in the music industry. Ronela is known for her diversity in music, style and performance. She took part in a lot of Albanian song and dance contests, like Top Fest and Kënga Magjike, and this year she managed to win the 60th Festivali I Këngës, a beloved annual show in Albania, and has more recently been used to select the country’s Eurovision entries. Hajati triumphed over 19 other acts, with some of the brightest names in music amongst them.

The rehearsal

Unfortunately, for the first rehearsals, accredited journalists do not have the opportunity to cover them. The only things that become known are what the event gives to the public.

This performance has incredible drama and impact, and she looks amazing in a sparkly bikini with black boots and pink hair. Four male backing dancers and one very gymnastic female are providing backing support – this is ticking lots of our Eurovision boxes.

This is going to be a great opener to the first Semi-Final next Tuesday – despite some sound issues in the first run-through, her vocal sounds great. On her second run she is more comfortable on stage, with great moves and some pyros maybe will be added on her last run. Also, the waterfall at the front of the stage has been turned on for her last performance for today!

Albania: Ronela Hajati is holding final rehearsals in Rome!

The representative of Albania, Ronela Hajati, is currently in Rome, where she is rehearsing for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

These rehearsals take place at the CMA – Centro Multidisciplinare delle Arti.

She had previously revealed that she will be joined by four Italian dancers on the stage in Turin. The singer is traveling to Rome having participated in Eurovision Pre-Party all over Europe, including the Eurovision Spain Pre-Party last weekend.

Ronela was chosen to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest after she won the national final Festivali i Këngës with the song “Sekret”.

Albania will be the country to open the first semi-final for this year’s contest on May 10th, with the goal to win one of the ten tickets to Saturday’s Grand Final.

Last night the first Eurovision Party took place successfully at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona. More than 18 eurostars attended the Barcelona Eurovision Party 2022. It was the first Eurovision event on Spanish soil, not forgetting that in a few days the PrePartyES will also take place in Madrid.

The hosts of the event were Sharone and Giuseppe di Bella!

Albania: Details about the performance of Ronela Hajati in Eurovision 2022!

Ronela Hajati is set to be joined by four Italian dancers on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

Ronela Hajati has revealed the first information regarding what people can expect from her performance in Turin at the Eurovision Song Contest. Speaking to RTSH yesterday she revealed:

The show is completely different, I collaborate with Klaudia Pepe where she is a choreographer. There are also 4 Italian ballerinas. The show has nothing to do with RTSH performance, nor with the clip.

I have said that the biggest problem with the controversy I have here is because we are a country that cannot accept certain things. For the first time, there are no limits.

The goal is to make it to a wider market:

I hope to catch the eye of a foreign company, to take me out of Albania. Here I have done everything and I will continue to do the same. Why not serve me for a wider market? It’s the dream of all singers.

Ronela was chosen to represent Albania at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest after she won Festivali i Këngës. She will sing “Sekret”, and will perform in the first half of the first semi-final.

Albania: Listen to the revamp of “Sekret” by Ronela Hajati!

For yet another year, Albania chose its representative for Eurovision 2022 through its national song contest, Festivali i Kenges 60. The winner was Ronela Hajati with the song “”. Some time after her win, she said the her song will be revamped for Eurovision.

Ronela said in the past that she wanted the revamped version of her song to be done in London with the producer Diztortion, who has work with big names like: Shakira, David Guetta and Rita Ora. It is not confirmed, whether Ronela worked with him in the end.

A lot of her songs had great success, getting millions of views in YouTube.

Albania will perform in the first semi-final and specifically the first half (numbers 1-8).

Albania: The Revamp and the Video Clip of “Sekret” will be released in early March!

Ronela Hajati, the winner of Festivali i Këngës 60, started shooting the video clip of “Sekret” in the south of Albania, with a strong message for the preservation of our natural heritage. The clip of the song is filmed along the Aoos river, in Vyllis. Another part of the filming will take place in Argyrokastro and in Tepeleni.

The video clip, will be published in early March on the official Eurovision Youtube channel and will show some of the most seductive Albanian women, as a postcard for all Eurovision fans.
