Eurovision 2023: These are the 10 finalists of the Second Semi-Final!

The Eurovision 2023 Semi-Final season comes to an end as the 10 finalists of the second semi-final of this year’s edition have been officially chosen,with the final line-up coming to its completion.

Tonight’s show was hosted by Alesha Dixon, Hannah Waddingham and the Ukrainian star Julia Sanina.

A total of 16 acts competed for a ticket to Saturday’s Grand Final on Saturday,with the a total of 19 countries (including Italy,Spain,the UK and Ukraine) voting for their favorite acts,ten of which proceed to the Grand Final.

The following 10 acts secured a spot for Saturday’s Grand Final:

Interval Acts

The second semi-final included live interval performances. The first was a contemporary montage led by Mariya Yarmechuk, who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2014 and reached a respectable 6th place.

The ‘Music Unites Generations’ performance delved into the connection between different generations of Ukrainians and their love for music. The piece will be accompanied by a collaborative performance from OTOY, Zlata Dziunka, and Mariya.

Eurovision 2023: Second Semi-Final takes place tonight!

The moment that every Eurofan waited for is finally here! The 67th Eurovision Song Contest officially begun on Tuesday, with the First Semi-Final, and is now continuing, as the Second Semi-Final takes place tonight, live from Liverpool!

The sixteen remaining countries will take part in tonight’s show, with ten of them qualifying to the Grand Final of Saturday, where the winner of Eurovision 2023 will be decided.

The hosts of this evening will be Julia Sanina from The Hardkiss, Hannah Waddingham and Alesha Dixon.

Apart from the 16 countries taking part, Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom also have the right to vote in the Semi-Final as part of the BIG 5 and previous winner. In addition, there is a new category that can vote in both Semi-Finals, Rest Of The World.

Eurovision 2022: The 10 finalists of the 2nd Semi-Final!

The 2nd Semi-Final of Eurovision Song Contest 2022 ended a few minutes ago, held Pala Olimpico in Turin, Italy.

The 10 countries that advanced to Saturday’s grand final are:

  • Belgium
  • Czech Republic
  • Azerbaijan
  • Poland
  • Finland
  • Estonia
  • Australia
  • Sweden
  • Romania
  • Serbia

The 2nd Semi- Final began with an opening act in which in one of the presenters Alessandro Cattelan danced with a group of dancers to the viral TikTok song “My name is Chiki”.

In total, 18 countries claimed the 10 tickets leading to the Final. Those were:

  3. Serbia: Konstrakta – “In Corpore Sano”
  4. Azerbaijan: Nadir Rustamli – “Fade to Black”

Interval Acts

After the end of the competing part Mika along side with Laura Pausini performed exceptionally Sting’s Fragile, and Patti Smith’s People Have the Power, conveiyng an antiwar message.

Il Volo also got on stage to perform another version of their 2015 entry Grande Amore.

Right before the announcement of the aforementioned finalists, we had the chance to see clips from the performances of Spain, United Kingdom and Germany, the member of the Big 5 who had the right to vote in this Semi – Final.

Lithuania: The artists and the running order of the second semi-final!

A few hours ago, the Lithuanian broadcaster, LRT, announced the artists who will compete and the order in which they will perform in the second semi-final of Pabandom iš naujo! 2022 (Let’s try again! 2022).

The artists of the second semi-final are:

  1. Urtė Šilagalytė – “Running Chords”
  2. Mary Mo – “Get Up”
  3. Titas ir Benas – “Getting Through This”
  4. Ieva Zasimauskaitė – “I’ll Be There”
  5. Rūta Loop – “Call Me From the Cold”
  6. Augustė Vedrickaitė ft. Under – “Before You’re 6”
  7. Vilija Matačiūnaitė – “Šimtas vienas”
  8. Monika Liu – “Sentimentai”
  9. Moosu X – “Love that Hurts”

The second semi-final will take place on Saturday, February 5 at 20:00 CET!

Pabandom iš naujo! 2022 consists of six shows. Three heats that have already been completed, two semi-finals and a grand final. The winner will be chosen 50% by public vote and 50% by a jury.
