North Macedonia: Vasil with a song by Borislav Milanov at Eurovision 2021?

North Macedonia is one of the five countries that have not yet clarified whether they will be represented at Eurovision 2021 with the artist who would represent them in this year’s contest or will look for a new artist. The most likely scenario here, after the retention of pro-Western Zoran Zaev, is that Vasil Garganliev will have another chance. In fact, in a story that Vasil shared on his Instagram profile, we see him with the composer Borislav Milanov, the founder of Symphonix, who in recent years has signed many songs in the competition. This of course makes us wonder whether Borislav Milanov will be the creator of our participation and our neighboring country?

Borislav Milanov, together with Symphonix, will be the composer of Bulgaria’s entry in Eurovision 2021, while it is known that they will send a new song in the internal selection of Germany with Ben Dolic. It remains unknown whether they will compose Malta’s song in 2021, which is again represented by Destiny or maybe for some other countries too.

North Macedonia would be represented at Eurovision 2020 by Vasil Garganliev with the song You, which you can listen to below:

North Macedonia: Listen to “You”,Vasil’s song for Eurovision 2020

Since January 15th, the public broadcaster of North Macedonia had informed us that Vasil Gargaliev will represent the country at the 65th Eurovision Contest!

This is the fifth consecutive year that Northern Macedonia chooses to participate by direct assignment. Vasil is familiar with the Contest since they were on Tamara Todevska’s vocal team last year.

Vasil’s song is titled “You” and is a creation by both Nevenska and Kalina Neshkoska and Alice Shrader.

Who is Vasil Garganliev

Vasil Garganliev began his musical journey at the age of 7, playing at one of the most popular children’s festivals in Northern Macedonia. Shortly thereafter, he moved with his family to the United States, where he continued his career as a soloist at the Chicago Children’s Choir.

He has given many recitals at music festivals around the world and has collaborated with some of the most renowned artists. The motto of Vasil’s life is simple: whenever words fail, sing.

Since returning to Northern Macedonia in 2018, Vasil has released 3 very successful singles: Gjerdan, Patuvam and Mojata Ulic. His first personal concert in his hometown in November 2019 was sold out.

North Macedonia: On March 8th,the song to be released

OGAE of Northern Macedonia informs us that the song by Vasil Garganliev who will represent the country at Eurovision 2020 will be released on March 8th.

The song, titled “You”, will premiere with its video clip on March 8th. A day later the head of delegation of Northern Macedonia will present it at the meeting of the leaders to be held in Rotterdam.

The video clip will be aired on the afternoon news bulletin of public television and according to OGAE North Macedonia information is not a ballad. The same Swedish team that was responsible for last year’s participation in Tamara, who as you may remember was the winner of the jury rating, will take over the stage.

The song is signed by Nevenka Neshkoska, Kalina Neshkoska and Alice Shrader, both of whom are sisters, expressing extreme nationalism, something we’ve been informed about in our article. However, the performer himself seems to hold lower tones.
