Montenegro:Rotko Stjuart expresses his wish to represent Montenegro in a future contest!

Despite Montenegro not taking part in this year’s contest, the Montenegrin artists’ interest in representing their homeland in a future edition of the Eurovision Song Contest remains high enough.Montenegrin virtual star Rotko Stuart, who started his singing career in 2021,has shown an immense interest in taking part in the contest by releasing a song dedicated to it with the title “Pjesma za Evroviziju / I Wanna Funk You”.

The artist explicitly stated his intention in representing Montenegro with the following words:

If you are a listener that felt bad because Montenegro once again withdrew from the biggest European music festival, I hope you will enjoy “Pjesma za Evroviziju” with which I will not be representing Montenegro this year. And spread the message onwards. If however you are a sponsor who would make it possible for Rotko to virtually represent Montenegro in Liverpool and to gather inspiration for his new songs and projects, you can contact me without any hesitation via rotkostjuart.me or my social media pages.

Montenegro debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest as a separate country in 2007 and has made it to the final only twice ever since,in 2014 and 2015,with the later one being their best result to date (Adi0-13th place in the final). The best result of a Montenegrin song to date, however, remains “Zauvijek Moja” by No Name, which reached a 7th place in the 2005 edition as part of Serbia and Montenegro.
