Well-known artists like The Roop, who represented Lithuania in both Eurovision 2020 and 2021, are among the participants. Furthermore, both Andrius Pojavis and Vilija Matačiūnaitė, who represented their country in the 2013 and 2014 Eurovision contests, are hoping to make a comeback.

Both the manner and the regulations under which Eurovizija.LT is carried out are different from those of the prior method. To be more precise, there will be a grand final and five semi-finals in the country’s national selection. Following public and jury voting, two songs from each semi-final will move on to the final. The top three entries from the final will move on to the “Super-Final”, where the TV viewers will be the only ones deciding who wins and who represents Lithuania in Malmö.

The five semi-finals are scheduled to air on January 13, 20, 27, and February 3 and 10, respectively. Similar to past years, the semifinals will be taped earlier in the week rather than being broadcast live. In addition, the jury vote will take precedence in the case of a tie. Lastly, the live broadcast of the grand final is scheduled for February 17, 2024.

Lithuania was represented this year by Monika Linkytė with the song “Stay” , finishing in 11th place with a total of 127 points. Will Lithuania be able to achieve another favorable outcome in Malmö?
