Georgia: Nutsa Buzaladze will perform “Fire Fighter” in Malmö!

Georgia‘s public broadcaster GPB announced the title of the song with which Nutsa Buzaladze will represent the country in Malmö. The song is titled “Fire Fighter”.

At the same time, the recent rumours were confirmed, as Darko Dimitrov and Ada Skidka were officially announced as the song’s composers. After an open call to interested artists, the song was selected from about 300 submissions made to the country’s public television.

According to a story published on Nutsa’s personal Instagram account, the Georgian delegation has already started extensive preparations. The director and choreographer have actually already been chosen, as per reports from today’s GPB afternoon programme. They met with the executive in charge of Georgia’s public television today to go over the specifics of the stage performance.

The production of “Fire Fighter” has been completed and the track is expected to be released in the next few days.

Who is Nutsa Buzaladze?

The international songstress from Tbilisi has participated in (and won) many different song contests over her career, including a top 12 finish at American Idol in 2023 where she performed a duet with Kylie Minogue on her classic track “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”.

In recent years, Nutsa has lived in both Los Angeles (where she wrote, performed and shot music videos) and Dubai (where she signed a contract with Theater Dubai and performed at Expo) but calls Georgia home.

In 2019 she released her debut album under the name Nutsa22, covering not only Georgian songs but also compositions in English, but it was Gelodebi that became her breakout hit leading her to tour the country with a live band.
