Eurovision 2025: Bern encouraged to host by Biel and the Canton of Bern!

Preparations for Eurovision 2025 are already underway in Switzerland, and of course, the first phase is finding the right city to host the Contest.

Biel, Nemo’s hometown, seems to be encouraging Bern, the country’s capital, to host the Contest. Officials wish to be able to cooperate in the hosting of Eurovision Song Contest, as they stated to the city of Bern, BERNEXPO and others.

In conjunction with the above, the government of the Canton of Bern talked about a possible organization of the Competition. In detail, they stated:

“The government council notes that several congress and trade fair locations in the canton of Bern have an attractive infrastructure. It is open to applications and is willing to examine requests for support.”

The Swiss capital is expected to declare its interest in hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, but the canton’s president has spoken out against the idea. Bern has yet to officially announce anything.
