Lithuania: Member of the European Parliament submitted a petition for the country’s withdrawal from Eurovision!

Petras Gražulis is a Lithuanian member of the European Parliament, and he submitted a petition for the country’s withdrawal from the Contest, stating that the Contest does not promote music and talent, but it’s just a tool to promote LGBT propaganda.

Eurovision is all about promotion of LGBT Propaganda

The far-right member of the European Parliament, collected a few hundreds of signatures, and submitted the petition to the Parliament of Lithuania, asking for the country’s withdrawal from the Eurovision Song Contest, just as Hungary and Türkiye did a few years ago.

“Every year, Lithuania spends hundreds of thousands of taxpayers’ money on the Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, this year’s Eurovision proved that the event no longer has anything to do with the songs. This event has become a tool of LGBT propaganda, during which it is not the songs or the talent of the performers that is evaluated, but the demonstrations of sexual perversions and their show elements.

Satanism sessions, parades of homosexuals, transsexuals, asexuals and the like have become the engine of Eurovision, which is obviously supported by the commissions selected by the countries. The fact that the use of the European Union flag was banned at the event, but LGBT rainbows were freely allowed, says more than necessary about Eurovision. It must be stated that this contest has become a LGBT political tool to spread an ideology harmful to Lithuania.

Therefore, we invite the heads of state of Lithuania to stop participating in Eurovision as soon as possible, as Turkey and Hungary have done, and Latvia is considering doing so. And the finances should be allocated to the cultivation of traditional values for the national family event. Such an event should be held on the occasion of International Family Day in the middle of May,”

LRT’s respond

LRT, the Lithuanian public broadcaster, responded to Petras Gražulis’ petition, and they stated that they have no intention of withdrawing from the Eurovision Song Contest, which unites and educates.

“Eurovision is one of the biggest international television events and has many viewers in Lithuania and around the world. LRT has no intention of withdrawing from the contest, which is “the most watched program in Lithuania” and unites the public around the campaign to support the Lithuanian representative.”

Some extra info is that along with the rejection of his petition by LRT, Petras Gražulis was informed that he was not accepted in the Euro-group of Giorgia Meloni, ECR, with his hopes now about joining one of the political parties of the European Parliament, to be Marie Le Pen’s ID.
