Lithuania: Song submission window for Eurovizija.LT extended!

Lithuania was one of the first countries to confirm its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The submission window would have been open until today, November 11, however just a while ago, LRT, the country’s public broadcaster, announced that an extension of time will be given to those interested.

In detail, the submission window will remain open for two more weeks, that is until November 25. Artists interested in submitting can find the application on the official website of LRT.

After the submission window is closed, a jury panel conducted by LRT will evaluate the songs and select an unknown number of songs to compete in the national final.

Four or five semi-finals will be broadcasted, depending on the number of songs selected, in which both the public and the jury will vote, at a rate of 50% each.

The final will take place on February 15 and will consist of two rounds of voting. In the first round, public and jury will select three songs to advance to the Super Final, where the representative will be chosen exclusively by the Lithuanian audience.

The previous winner of Eurovizija.LT and Lithuania’s representative in Eurovision 2024, was Silvester Belt with his song “Luktelk” who ended up in 14th place:
