Greece: International Jury for the Greek National Selection revealed!
As the preparations for Greece’s Eurovision 2025 national final proceed at full speed, more details are emerging about the big night on January 30th.
Today, the countries whose representatives will form the international jury, responsible for 25% of the final result, were revealed.
The International Jury
According to the Greek TV show “Chamogela kai Pali”, representatives from five countries will take part in the voting process during the national final. These countries are:
- United Kingdom
- France
- Italy
- Switzerland
- Norway
Strict criteria for jury selection
Additionally and according to our information, ERT has implemented strict criteria in selecting the representatives for the international jury. The Greek broadcaster has reached out to the national broadcasters of the five countries, requesting them to propose prominent artists, music producers, and other industry professionals to be part of the jury.
This ensures both the objectivity of the voting process and the highest quality contribution to the final result.
The Greek National Final for Eurovision 2025
Twelve artists will compete for the Greek representation in Basel:
- Klavdia – “Asteromata”
- Evangelia – “Vale”
- Thanos Lambrou – “Free Love”
- Konstantinos Christoforou & Kostas Karafotis – “Paradisos”
- Xannova Xan – “Play it”
- Andy Nicolas – “Lost My Way“
- BARBZ – “Sirens”
- Dinamiss – “Odyssey”
- Kostas Ageris – “Gi mou”
- Nafsika – “Unhurt me”
- Rikki – “Elevator”
- Georgina Kalais & John Vlaseros – “High Road”
The Greek national final for Eurovision 2025 will take place on January 30, live from the Christmas Theater in Athens. The hosts of the night will consist of two Greek Eurovision stars, Elena Paparizou (2001 and 2005 – winner) and Sakis Rouvas (2004 and 2009). The winner of the show, who will represent Greece at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, will be determined as follows:
- 25% from the vote of an international jury
- 25% from the vote of a domestic jury
- 50% from the vote of the television audience
