Spain: The TV Ratings of the First Semi-Final of Benidorm Fest 2025!
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of watching the first semi-final of Benidorm Fest, Spain’s national selection for Eurovision 2025. Recently, the festival’s TV ratings were released!
Specifically, the first semi-final of Benidorm Fest 2025, which aired yesterday on La 1 de Televisión Española, became the most-watched program, with an average share of 13.1% and 1,215,000 viewers. Furthermore, more than 3.7 million people tuned in at some point during the broadcast, setting the best historical audience figure for a first semi-final of the festival.
Compared to last year, the Benidorm Fest first semi-final saw an increase of 210,000 viewers and a 2.3-point improvement in its share. The first semi-final of Benidorm Fest 2024 reached an audience of 1,005,000 viewers with a share of 10.8%.
The success of the first night of Benidorm Fest 2025 was particularly notable among younger audiences, where it achieved a share of 28.3% in both the 13 to 24 age group and the 25 to 44 age group. Madrid emerged as the region with the highest viewership, registering a 24.6% share.
The festival continues today, Thursday, January 30, with the second semi-final, where another 4 artists will compete for a spot in the grand final alongside the already qualified Daniela Blasco, Kuve, Lachispa, and Lucas Bun.
