Croatia: More details about Dora 2025 revealed!

With Dora 2025 set to take place next week, HRT, Croatia’s public broadcaster, has released further details regarding the national final for Eurovision 2025!

HRT will broadcast the festival over five days, featuring five different events. On February 26, the “Blue Carpet” will take place, where the 26 participants will make an appearance for journalists.

On February 27 and 28, the semi-finals will be held, with twelve songs competing in each one. The eight qualifiers will be determined exclusively by the public vote. Nina Badrić, Croatia’s 2012 representative, will perform in the first semi-final, while Alessandra, Norway’s 2023 representative, will take the stage in the second semi-final.

On March 1, one day before the Dora 2025 Grand Final, a special concert titled “Opatija bajna” (Fabulous Opatija) will be broadcast live on HRT 1 from the Crystal Ballroom at Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, which has been the traditional venue for Dora for many years. The concert will feature music from the 60s to today and will be hosted by Iva Šulentić and Robert Ferlin.

On March 2, the Grand Final of Dora will take place, featuring 16 artists. The show will be broadcast by HRT on television, web player, and on YouTube. A special performance will also be given by Baby Lasagna, last year’s Croatian representative.

The result will be determined by public voting and eight jury panels, each accounting for 50% of the final score. Four juries will be from Croatia (Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, and Osijek), while the remaining four will come from abroad (Finland, Armenia, Slovenia, and Spain).
