Eurovision 2025: Viewership of the Saturday’s national finals!
Last Saturday, the first Super Saturday was completed, with several national finals or semi-finals taking place simultaneously and new representatives emerging for the Eurovision 2025 contest!
Sweden – Melodifestivalen Heat 2
2,562,000 viewers watched the second qualifying round of Melodifestivalen on SVT1, which surpassed last week’s Swedish viewing figures. However, this qualifying round saw a drop of 81,000 viewers compared to the first heat which was watched by over 2.6 million viewers. It is important to note that the figures reported by MMS only include TV viewers and not those following on SVT Play.
Ukraine – Vidbir 2025
Over 2 million viewers and listeners watched the Vidbir 2025 final on February 8, according to Suspilne data.
Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne has published the viewing figures for the Vidbir 2025 final. The final, which aired on February 8, was broadcast on television, YouTube, the internet, Facebook and via radio, reaching over 2 million viewers and listeners.
On YouTube, the Vidbir 2025 final with English commentary was watched by 287,000 viewers on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel, with another 161,000 viewers on the official Eurovision YouTube channel. Another 1 million viewers watched the national selection on YouTube.
The telecast on Suspilne Kultura was watched by an additional 624,000 viewers on average.
Malta – Malta Eurovision song contest 2025
PBS announced that a total of 385,000 viewers watched the final of Malta’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The contest was followed by 214,000 viewers in Malta, while an additional 171,000 viewers were recorded from abroad.
Overall interest in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest increased significantly compared to the 2024 edition. The 2024 final was watched by 132,000 viewers, while the 2023 edition saw 265,000 viewers on TVM and online platforms.
