Norway: MGP 2025 Voting System Announced

Norwegian broadcaster NRK has revealed the voting system for Melodi Grand Prix 2025, the national selection through which Norway chooses its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The voting process remains the same as in previous years and will take place online or via mobile. In addition to the public vote, points will also be awarded by an international jury. The public votes will carry a 60% weight, while the jury votes will account for 40%.

First, the international jury will announce its scores, followed by the public vote, similar to the Eurovision format. The composition of the international jury will be revealed after the final.

Additionally, NRK confirmed that Gåte, the winners of Melodi Grand Prix 2024, will return to the stage for a special guest performance during the final.

Melodi Grand Prix 2025 will take place at Oslo Spektrum on February 15, 2025. The show will be hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom, and Markus Neby, promising an unforgettable night of music and entertainment.
