Spain: TV Ratings for the Second Semifinal of Benidorm Fest 2025!
On Thursday, we had the pleasure of watching the second semifinal of Benidorm Fest, Spain’s national selection for Eurovision 2025. Yesterday, the viewing figures for the festival’s second semifinal were released!
Specifically, the second semifinal of Benidorm Fest 2025, broadcast on La 1 de Televisión Española two days ago, became the most-watched program, with an average of 1,030,000 viewers and a share of 11.7%. Additionally, more than 3 million people tuned in at some point during the broadcast, making it the second-best historical audience figure for a second semifinal of the festival.
Compared to last year, the second semifinal of Benidorm Fest saw a slight drop of 9,000 viewers. The second semifinal of Benidorm Fest 2024 had reached 1,039,000 viewers with a 10.5% share.
The success of the second night of Benidorm Fest 2025 was particularly remarkable among the younger audience, where it achieved a 23.1% share in the 13-24 age group and 27.4% in the 25-44 age group. The Benidorm Fest also achieved a reward percentage of 42.7%. The region with the highest audience share for this event was the Valencian Community, which recorded a 19.7% share. Madrid followed with 17.3%.
The festival continues today, Saturday, February 1, with the grand final, where 8 artists will compete for the chance to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
