Sweden: Αce Wilder will kick off the Fourth Heat of Melodifestivalen 2025!
On Saturday, Ace Wilder will kick off Melodifestivalen in Malmö with a new version of her iconic Mello hit “Busy Doin’ Nothin’.” Together with this year’s hosts, Edvin Törnblom and Keyyo, she promises an opening act with humor and energy.
After years of singing and dancing behind several international artists on tours worldwide, Ace Wilder stepped onto the Mello stage for the first time in 2014 with the song “Busy Doin’ Nothin’,” written by Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, and Ace herself. The entry made it all the way to the final and finished in second place—a success that was followed by top positions on several charts.
Following her breakthrough, Ace Wilder returned to Melodifestivalen on two occasions: in 2016 with the song “Don’t Worry,” which finished in third place, and in 2017 with the entry “Wild Child.”
Now she’s back on stage to perform a new version of “Busy Doin’ Nothin’,” this time accompanied by this year’s hosting duo.
“Competing in Melodifestivalen changed my life, so when they reached out and asked me to participate in the program, I knew that not even childbirth would stop me from being part of it! Sharing the stage with Edvin and Keyyo makes the whole thing even more fun,” says Ace Wilder, who became a mother eight weeks ago.
