Ukraine: Ziferblat Officially Confirmed as the Country’s Representatives for Eurovision 2025
Suspilne has announced that it has signed a contract with the winners of Vidbir 2025, Ziferblat, officially confirming that they will represent Ukraine in Basel.
The Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine has finalized the agreement for Ukraine’s participation in Eurovision 2025 with Ziferblat, the winners of the national selection. The band will compete in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Basel, Switzerland. According to the allocation draw, Ziferblat will perform in the first half of the first semi-final, aiming to secure a spot in the Grand Final.
The final of Vidbir 2025 took place on February 8, with the result determined by a combination of jury voting (50%) and public voting (50%). The public vote was conducted via the “Diia” app and SMS, accumulating over 362,000 votes in the app and more than 35,000 SMS votes.
Ziferblat won the national final with the song “Bird of Pray,” earning a total of 19 points: 9 from the jury and 10 from the public.
