Eurovision 2025: All the new details about the event in Basel!

Basel seems to be feverishly preparing for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest. In fact, new information has already been announced about how they plan to organise the best experience for fans of the contest.

Beat Läuchli, project manager of this year’s contest, gave an interview to Swissinfo stating:

“In addition to the flags that will be flown throughout the city, we are planning a fan boulevard. There will also be music at Barfüsserplatz.”

From his words we understand that the city of Basel will be a huge party that will transmit the pulse of Eurovision. The Basel Exhibition Centre will have a Eurovillage as well as the Euroclub for all the fans of the contest. In addition, there will be parallel activities and events in the city during the contest and thus Basel will be transformed into the heart of Eurovision 2025 uniting fans from all over the world.

In addition, Läuchli, said about the need to promote but also contribute to the local community in the competition:

“It is important to involve the population, but also businesses and restaurants, so that they can contribute. And it is important to highlight regional culture. In this way we can create the necessary atmosphere.”
