Malta: Alexander Rybak to take the stage at MESC 2025!

The Grand Final of MESC 2025, from which Malta’s representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be selected, is approaching, and the first guest has already been announced—none other than Alexander Rybak.

Alexander Rybak was crowned the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 with the song “Fairytale“, in Moscow. Naturally, the singer is expected to perform the song that brought him victory on the stage of the Grand Final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

The final of MESC 2025 will take place on Saturday, February 8, at 21:00 CET (22:00 Greek time) on TVM, with hosts Valentina Rossi, Davide Tucci, and Pauline Agius. Malta’s representative in Basel will be determined through a combination of public voting and jury decision.
