Netherlands: Claude Travels to Switzerland for His Postcard!
Last week, this year’s representative of Czechia, Adonxs, travelled all the way to Switzerland to film his postcard for Eurovision Song Contest 2025, making it clear that all the preparations for this year’s Contest have already begun. This week, it is time for another artist to travel all his way to the Alps.
The reference, of course, is to Claude Kiambe, also known as Claude, the representative of the Netherlands in Basel, who just a couple of minutes ago, posted his location in Switzerland on his personal account on Instagram, in order to film his postcard:

As he himself commented in Dutch, “Iets met het Songfestival…”, which in English is translated as “Something about the Eurovision Song Contest…”
This year is also the first one since 2019 that the postcards are filmed at a location of the host country, because the past five years postcards had just featured artists being superimposed at different locations of the host countries or visiting their home nations.
Who is Claude?
He is one of the most successful young artists of the Netherlands during the past few years. His debut single, “Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot) topped the Dutch Singles Charts in 2022, while his first album, Parler français, was released in 2024. He has taken part in The Voice Kids and he has also won the casting show Are You Next?.
Claude was internally selected by the broadcaster AVROTROS to represent the Netherlands in Eurovision 2025, while his song will be released on a later date.
