Borja Rueda: The Renowned Spanish Choreographer Takes Over Cyprus’ Eurovision 2025 Performance
The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (RIK) has announced its collaboration with renowned Spanish choreographer Borja Rueda, who will be responsible for the staging and choreography of Theo Evan and his team at Eurovision 2025.

It has already been revealed that the artistic direction of the performance will be overseen by the distinguished Spanish director Sergio Jaén. Borja Rueda boasts an impressive career in television, music, and theater. He works closely with international star Antonio Banderas, having choreographed original productions for acclaimed musicals such as Company, They’re Playing Our Song, and Gypsy.
Additionally, he serves as the artistic director and choreographer for famous Spanish pop star Ana Mena. His expertise extends to major events, including the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and BenidormFest 2024. Furthermore, he is responsible for the artistic direction of the Spanish version of the popular show Your Face Sounds Familiar, well-known to Greek audiences. Borja Rueda’s involvement in the Cypriot delegation raises expectations for a spectacular stage performance at Eurovision 2025.
RIK is expected to release the song that Theo Evan will perform at Eurovision 2025 in early March.
It is worth noting that the composition of Cyprus’ entry has been undertaken by the esteemed Greek songwriter Dimitris Kontopoulos, in collaboration with the creators of the winning song The Code and the popular Norwegian singer Elsie Bay.
