Armenia: The format of Depi Evratesil 2025!

The Armenian public broadcaster, ARMTV, has confirmed that Depi Evratesil, the national selection through which Armenia chooses its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, will take place on February 16.

Additionally, the organizers announced that the artists participating in Depi Evratesil will be revealed in advance, unlike the songs, which will be heard for the first time only on the night of the final.

Notably, what stands out is that the winner will be chosen exclusively by the Armenian public, as the voting will take place through 100% televoting, with no jury involvement whatsoever.

Armenia: Depi Evratesil 2025 to be held on February 16!

For the first time since 2020, Armenia will host Depi Evratesil, its national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. As excitement builds, AMPTV has kept most details of the process in secret, but the date for the final has now been revealed.

According to OGAE Armenia, the Depi Evratesil 2025 final will take place on February 16 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan. This year, the national selection moves from the AMPTV studios to a larger venue, which has previously hosted both the 2011 and 2022 editions of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, marking the significance of the event.

Meanwhile, ticket sale information will be released soon.

Depi Evratesil 2025

The decision to return to a national selection is a notable shift for AMPTV, which in recent years has opted for internal selection processes, keeping their Eurovision decisions secret until the very last moment. Known for being one of the last broadcasters to announce both its representative and song, Armenia’s early preparations for Depi Evratesil 2025 were surprising, suggesting that the country is taking a more active approach.

AMPTV launched a submission window for artists interested in December, which remained open until January 10. The participants of Depi Evratesil 2025 and their competing entries are due to be revealed soon.

Ladaniva were AMPTV’s pick for Eurovision 2024 with their song “Jako“. Ladaniva brought the country back to the top ten after eight years, finishing in eighth place.
