Eurovision 2022: Creating the Logo and Theme!
The official Eurovision YouTube account recently shared a video on the creation of this year’s logo and theme that will be used in the visual media of the competition.
Specifically, the main theme is going to be a visual representation of the slogan “The Sound of Beauty“. To represent the sounds they chose the use of sound waves, the “cymatics“, the science that converts sound into shapes, in combination with the famous shapes of Italian gardens and the sun.
The colors are based on the basic colors of Italy while the font is based on the art of Italian posters, emphasizing the Italian touch of this year’s competition. Combining shapes and colors will create a breathtaking ambience.
Then the topic is presented as it will be used in the competition, in interviews, in credits etc, but also in souvenirs.
