Poland: With Michał Szpak to Eurovision 2025?
Even though TVP is yet to officially announce that it will compete in Eurovision 2025, local artists are still very interested in the prospect. Following the expressions of interest from JoJo Siwa and Justyna Steczkowska, Michał Szpak, a former Eurovision representative, is now added to the list.
Michał Szpak represented Poland in 2016 with “Color of Your Life“, finishing third in televoting and eighth overall. Michał is open to return to the Eurovision stage and may have plans to do so.
Michał’s plans for Eurovision
Michał Szpak recently appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel “Polecany z WWA”. It was there that he was asked if he could imagine performing at Eurovision again. Michał then confirmed that he is seriously considering it.
I’m in touch with a group of people, producers who created Loreen’s song “Tattoo”. They would really like me to participate again. We’ll see how it goes. I also have a plan in my head.
However, he seems skeptical about it:
I don’t know if it’s my priority right now, but I’m not saying no, because it was a truly extraordinary experience.
Michał Szpak’s popularity in Poland has grown significantly since his Eurovision appearance, and many of his fans hope to see him return.
This year, Luna was selected by a TVP committee to represent Poland with her song “Tower“. However, Luna did not manage to qualify to the Grand Final, finishing twelfth in the first semi-final.
