Poland: Wildcard Entry in Polskie Kwalifikacje?

According to the latest information, Polish-Norwegian singer Teo Tomczuk, born in 2006, may be added to the list of national qualifiers and compete on February 14 for the chance to represent Poland in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.

His song, “Immortal”, written by Jeremi Sikorski, was originally submitted and performed during auditions but was not included in the final ten due to formal issues related to his citizenship. However, it appears that the situation has changed, as Teo has reportedly obtained Polish citizenship, leading Polish public television to grant him a wildcard entry.

Polish audiences may recognize Teo Tomczuk from his participation in the 15th season of Mam Talent or from Top of the Top Festival in Sopot. “Immortal” is his eleventh single, but his most notable media recognition so far comes from his role as Mathias in the Norwegian series Rykter.
