Rilaya Huseynzade is not only a singer but a violinist and a historian.  She tried to represent Azerbaijan before and she is giving a try again with the song “Time To Get Up”.  For her 2024 attempt she is joining forces with composer Zahra Badalbeyli who wrote Azerbaijan’s first Eurovision song.  Her connections with Eurovision do not end up there.  Recently she shared pictures on her Instagram of her with Samra (Azerbaijan 2016).

Lala Zeynallı

Lala Zeynallı will compete to be the 2024 Azeri representative with her song “Korpülər Yansın”.  The singer has already released the song.

If she gets to represent her country (and an English version is not later released) this would be the first time Azerbaijan does not sends a song in English.
