Junior Eurovision 2023: Details about the Opening Ceremony!

Details about the Junior Eurovision 2023 Opening Ceremony were revealed during a press conference held by France Télévisions.

The Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony will take place at the Hotel Negresco on the Promenade des Anglais at 19:00 CET on 20 November. The presenters of the ceremony will be Carla Lazzari, who represented France at Junior Eurovision 2019, and Manon Théodet. During the opening ceremony , two places in the running order will be decided. More specifically, the country that will perform first, and the country that will perform last. The rest of the order will be decided by the Junior Eurovision 2023 producers after the end of the ceremony.

Each of the sixteen delegations will speak at the opening ceremony with the journalist Laura Tenoudji and influencer Ophénya. The ceremony will also feature performances by each French Junior Eurovision representative since their return to the contest in 2018, with the singers performing parts of their songs.

The event will be broadcast live in France by France 4 and Okoo, with commentary by Karim Ternane and Julia Gourand.

Reminder that Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place on 26 November in Nice , following Lissandro’s victory in Yerevan last year.
