In the upcoming period of time, information about the next evaluation rounds and the final selection of songs that will participate in Das Deutsche Finale 2024 will be released.
The artists that will compete in Das deutsche Finale 2024 have been chosen since the Christmas season after 693 songs were submitted and thoroughly evaluated. There are 127 bands, 71 duets, and 475 solo entries among them.
The German television network TV3 will carry live coverage of Das Deutsche Finale 2024 live on February 16, 2024, at 22:00 (local time). Live broadcasts from Berlin will take place on ARD Mediathek, eurovision.de, and Das Erste. The winner will get to travel to Malmö in May of next year to represent Germany in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest.
Germany was represented last year by Lord of the Lost and the song “Blood and Glitter”. The band, which is well-known in Germany, came in last place overall, with a total of 18 points. Will Germany be able to recover from its string of poor results and move to the left side of the leaderboard?
