Few words for the artists

  1. Farida: “Heartache”

Farida is a familiar name for those who have followed the Norwegian music scene over the past seven years. Having opened for Dua Lipa, performed at the Øyafestivalen, appeared at Bylarm twice, won the “Role Model of the Year” award at the same festival, and showcased her talent at South By Southwest in Texas, Farida brings a wealth of experience.

  1. Mileo: “You’re Mine”

Mileo is a Norwegian-Australian singer, songwriter, and producer. Growing up shuttling between Oslo and Sydney with his Norwegian father and Australian mother, Mileo learned about music through his schooling. Realizing early on that he needed to write and produce his own songs to express the music within, he brings a unique perspective to the stage.

  1. Eli Kristin: “Touch of Venus”

ELI KRISTIN is a true opera diva. While she has been a permanent member of the opera for years, starring in the most famous productions, she has always dreamt of participating in MGP. Believing the door was closed when she stepped onto the grand opera stages, it’s now wide open to this wild music celebration.

  1. Super Rob, Erika Norwich: “My AI”

Erika Norwich, a talented songwriter and artist from Trondheim, known for tracks like “Til Lillebror” and the EP “Fra hjertet til hodet og ut,” joins forces with Super Rob to create a feel-good anthem for the world.

  1. Dag Erik Oksvold and Anne Fagermo: “Judge Tenderly of Me”

Finding musical harmony during “The Voice” last year, former competitors Dag Erik Oksvold and Anne Fagermo collaborate on “Judge Tenderly of Me.” The song has already received favorable reviews from Adresseavisen.

  1. Gåte: “Ulveham”

Gåte made their breakthrough in the early 2000s, swiftly becoming a national treasure. Their unique blend of traditional Norwegian folk music and explosive rock catapulted them from practice rooms to large stages in record time.
