Belgium: Mustii to Perform Eurovision Song Live on ‘The Voice Belgique’

Mustii will perform his Eurovision song “Before the Party’s Over” live on television for the first time during the semifinals of The Voice Belgique on April 16th. He revealed this during Friday night’s interviews leading up to the pre-party in Barcelona.

Songfestival.be spoke with the Belgian Eurovision participant on the purple carpet ahead of the pre-party in Barcelona, where he performed on Saturday night.

First Television Appearance

Mustii will sing “Before The Party’s Over” live on television on April 16th, during the semifinals of The Voice Belgique. It will be the first television appearance where he will perform his Eurovision song.

Hints in the Music Video

Mustii spoke in Barcelona about his preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest. Regarding the staging, the singer didn’t reveal much yet. When asked about the choir of submitted voices and whether it will also be incorporated into his performance in Malmö, he remained coy. Mustii didn’t divulge much about it but hinted that there are clues in the music video.

Elke Hoste

On the Eurovision stage, Mustii will be styled by the Flemish fashion designer Elke Hoste. The lecturer at the Antwerp Fashion Academy was previously responsible for styling, among others, Oscar and the Wolf.

Technical Issues in Madrid

The Belgian Eurovision participant also briefly reflected on last week’s pre-party in Madrid, where he was also present. He mentioned experiencing problems with the technology and stated that his performance on stage in Malmö will be very different.

Seeking Rest

So, Saturday night, Mustii performed in Barcelona. It’s a busy schedule because there are more pre-parties planned. The singer doesn’t always feel relaxed and also craves some peace in his intimate circle. He shared this during his interview with Songfestival.be.
