Iceland: Rúnar Freyr is the country’s new Head of Delegation!

Iceland and Hera Björk, are about to fly to Malmö for Eurovision 2024, and as it seems, they are going to have a new Head of Delegation for the Contest!

The well-known actor, Rúnar Freyr was announced by RÚV as the country’s new Head of Delegation for Eurovision Song Contest 2024

Rúnar Freyr has been involved in the Icelandic national final, with a lead role for a couple of years now, and he is taking over from Felix Bergsson, who steps down as his husband, Βaldur Þórhallsson, is running for President of the country.

This year, Iceland is represented by Hera Björk, with the song “Scared of Heights”, and she is taking part in the first semi-final:
