Albania: Elhaida Dani will be the artistic director of Festivali i Këngës 63!

One of Albania’s most famous and successful singers, Elhaida Dani, is going to return to the country’s greatest music festival, Festivali i Këngës, but this time, not as a contestant!

Elhaida is set to take on the role of artistic director of the festival in collaboration with RTSH, a partnership expected to last for more than just a single year. Her presence at the festival is expected to be particularly important, and of course the General Director of RTSH, Alfred Peza also talked about her:

“The arrival of Elhaida is a great news for me, the staff and the entire public opinion, because she will add a new value to the festival, given her extraordinary career starting from her victories in many music competitions. Of course Bojken Lako, who was the director of the 62nd Festival, one of the best festivals ever made by RTSH, will work with her”

After the announcement, the singer expressed her enthusiasm for this new task she takes on and mentioned that she will use all her personal and professional experience on the festival for which she has already started working:

“It is a great pleasure and responsibility. I was born and grew up with the RTSH Festival, and thanks to this festival I also stepped on the Eurovision stage. I know what this Festival means for Albanian artists. I know its importance. I will give my best in this, but also in the next ones. It is a golden opportunity to show Albania the best values of Festivali i Këngës. We are aiming to choose a team as professional as possible, as serious as possible, to do a great job for the Festival.”
