Czechia: Internal selection for Eurovision 2025 | Submission window now open!

Those interested, have until September 30 to submit their entries in the Czech public broadcaster, to represent the country in Eurovision 2025. ČT, announced that after a couple of years of organizing a national final, they’ll once again opt for an internal selection, for the artist that will wave the Czech flag in Eurovision 2025, in Basel!

Three different jury panels, will evaluate the submitted songs, to select the Czech entry for Eurovision. These will be, a focus group of Czech citizens at a rate of 40%, an international jury of professionals at 40% as well, and a jury conducted by the Czech broadcaster at 20%.

Only Czech citizens have the right to apply as performers, while composers can be from abroad and they can send their songs even without an artist, and ČT will combine them with a local singer.

In this year’s Eurovision held in Malmö, Aiko represented the country with the song “Pedestal” but, however, it did not make it to the grand final, as it finished in 11th place in the second semi-final.
