Romania: TVR has not yet decided whether to compete in Eurovision 2025
Following Montenegro’s return to the Eurovision Song Contest, there are now hopes that other South-Eastern European countries, who withdrew in previous years due to financial difficulties, may return to the competition. One of these countries is Romania, whose participation is still up in the air, as a representative for the country’s public broadcaster stated to Eurovoix.
More precisely, all options are still up for grabs as TVR has not yet decided whether or not Romania will compete in Eurovision 2025.
Until now, we do not have any decision for further participation on Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
The last representative of Romania was Theodor Andrei with the song “D.G.T. (Off and On)”, who did not manage to qualify for the grand final, finishing in last place of the second semi-final with zero points.
