Israel: Everything That Happened in the fifteenth Episode of HaKokhav Haba!
On Saturday night, December 14, the fifteenth episode of HaKokhav Haba (special edition), the talent show that will determine the artist who will represent Israel at Eurovision 2025, was broadcast. The show continues with high expectations.
The presenters, Assi Azar and Rotem Sela, once again guided the audience, while the jury, consisting of Shiri Maimon, Itay Levy, Assaf Amdorsky, Eden Hasson, Ran Dankar and Keren Peles, continued to evaluate with rigour and impartiality.
A total of 67 contestants made it through the audition hurdle and advanced to the second phase. There, after a new series of auditions, the six judges came up with a group of 21 people who will continue in the competition and claim the ticket to Basel. The 21 contestants who earned the trust of the judges are:

Then 7 of the 21 contestants took to the stage and competed against each other, with the one with the lowest score being eliminated from the competition.
Contestants and their Interpretations:
Keller (84%)
With a dazzling performance and excellent control of her voice, Keller sang “Valerie” (by Amy Winehouse) and managed to collect 84% from the audience and judges. Only Assaf voted against her effort, as he expected more.
Yuval Raphael (95%)
Yuval took to the stage and performed “All I Ask” (by Adele) and proved why she is one of the favorites in the competition. With a stunning and highly dynamic performance she captivated the audience and the judges, who all voted for her.
Uri Saban (71%)
Uri chose to perform “Give and Take” (by Shlomo Artzi) and despite his low confidence in his performance he received 71% and stayed in the competition. Of the judges, Ran and Assaf voted against him.
Ido Malka (84%)
Ido with “This Love” (by Maroon 5) was only outvoted by Assaf. With a great performance he ended up staying in the competition with 84%.
Nathalie Zafar (78%)
Nathalie chose to sing “Waiting” (by Rita) and impressed with her performance.She received 78% and moves on to the next episode, with the only judge voting her down being Keren.
Renana Bouaziza (46%)
Renana performed the song “Barefoot” (by Yasmin Moalem), but her performance had several misses. She was voted out by Assaf, Ran, Eden and Keren and was the one who received the lowest percentage and therefore she was eliminated from the competition.
Daniel Weiss (94%)
Daniel gave a flawless performance singing “Imagine” (by John Lennon) and managed to stay in the competition with 94%, as he was voted positively by all the judges.
HaKokhav Haba continues with the next 7 contestants entering the fray in the next episode. Through HaKokhav HaBa, Israel managed to qualify for the final of our beloved contest every year from 2015 to 2020, and in 2018 Netta was also the winner of Eurovision with the song “Toy“.
Last year’s HaKokhav Haba winner and by extension the country’s representative at Eurovision 2024 was Eden Golan. Eden Golan with her song “Hurricane”, finished in fifth place in the final ranking.
