Denmark: The Hosts of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025!

The Danish public broadcaster, DR, has just announced the hosts of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025, the country’s national final for Eurovision 2025.

Once again, the hosts of the final will be Stéphanie Surrugue and Sara Bro.

Stéphanie Surrugue shared her thoughts about the role of the host:

It is truly a huge joy to be part of Denmark’s biggest ‘party bus’ once again. The sense of community and the joy that surrounds Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is something we all need in these complicated times. At the same time, Grand Prix is deeply rooted in Danish and European traditions, with cultural significance beyond just the music. I am thrilled to be part of this event alongside my ‘work rocket,’ Sara Bro.

Sara Bro added:

Last year’s experience was magical, becoming part of the wonderful Grand Prix family. There’s a special atmosphere with the most passionate and dedicated fans who create an environment full of joy and sparkle. I hope everyone is ready for another celebration with great music and entertainment. I can’t wait to welcome everyone, both at home and at Boxen, together with my idol and partner, Stéphanie Surrugue.

The eight artists and their songs will be revealed on February 6 during a press conference at DR Koncerthuset.

We would like to remind you that Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will be broadcast live on DR1 and DRTV on Saturday, March 1, with a single final and the participation of eight songs.

Denmark was represented in this year’s competition in Malmö by Saba with the song “Sand“, but unfortunately did not make it to the grand final, finishing in 12th place in the second semi-final.
