Italy: The Terza Serata of Sanremo 2025 Takes Center Stage Tonight!
The 75th Sanremo Festival continues tonight at the iconic Teatro Ariston, bringing us the highly anticipated Terza Serata. Italy is on its way to selecting its representative for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, and with just a few days left until the grand finale on Saturday, February 15, the excitement is at an all-time high!
Tonight’s Show: A Star-Studded Evening
Hosting duties remain in the hands of Carlo Conti, who is also the festival’s artistic director for the third time. Stepping into the shoes of Amadeus, who left a lasting legacy over the past five years, Conti continues to bring his own touch to the beloved festival.
For the Terza Serata, he will be joined by Miriam Leone, Elettra Lamborghini, and Katia Follesa as co-hosts, adding a mix of elegance, energy, and humor to the evening.
Special Guests: Legends Take the Stage!
Tonight’s guest lineup is nothing short of spectacular, headlined by the legendary Duran Duran! One of the most successful bands of the 1980s, they were key figures in the “Second British Invasion” in the U.S. and continue to influence generations of musicians.
Also making appearances tonight:
Edoardo Bennato, the iconic Italian singer-songwriter.
The cast of “Mare Fuori 5”, the hit Italian TV drama.
At Piazza Colombo, Ermal Meta will take the stage. A Sanremo favorite, Ermal won the 2018 edition alongside Fabrizio Moro with “Non mi avete fatto niente”, a song that later secured 5th place at Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon.
Nuove Proposte: The Second Semi-Final
Tonight also marks the second “semi-final” for the Nuove Proposte category. Two of the four emerging artists will compete, with the winner advancing to Thursday’s final.
