Lithuania: With Katarsis and “Tavo akys” at Eurovision 2025!
Lithuania has completed the search for its representative and participation for Eurovision 2025. The “Eurovizija.LT,” as the process is now called by Lithuanian public television, consists of five semi-finals and one final. A few minutes ago, the grand final with twelve contestants concluded.
The presenters of the evening were Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė Khotseng, and Rimvydas Černiauskas.
The judging panel consisted of 11 music professionals:
- Vaidas Baumila (Lithuanian representative for Eurovision 2015)
- Giedrė Kilčiauskienė (singer)
- Inga Jankauskaitė (singer)
- Ieva Narkutė (singer)
- Monika Liu (singer)
- Vytautas Bikus (composer)
- Leon Somov (producer and performer)
- Unė Liandzbergytė (LRT presenter)
- Gerūta Griniūtė (journalist and presenter)
- Kristupas Naraškevičius (presenter)
- Ramūnas Zilnys (popular music editor at LRT)
The twelve songs that competed for the ticket to Basel were:
- Noy – “Just Take Me On A Date”
- GOYA – “After Storm”
- Liepa – “Ar mylétum?”
- Gebrasy – “Whole”
- Amoralu – “Freedom”
- Anyanya – “Running Out Of Time”
- Justė Baradulinaitė – “Tired”
- Katarsis – “Tavo akys”
- Petunija – “l salduma”
- Sophie Ali – “The Bluest Bell“
- Lion Ceccah – “Drobė“
- Black biceps – “Visaip man reik”
The results:
Tonight, the Lithuanian public had the opportunity to watch live performances and vote for their favorites. The result was determined 50% by the jury and 50% by the TV audience. The three entries that received the highest score during the final advanced to the “Super-Final,” where the final winner and representative of Lithuania in Βasel was determined exclusively by the TV audience.
The three songs that advanced to the “Super-Final” were:
- Katarsis – “Tavo akys”
- Liepa – “Ar mylétum?”
- Lion Ceccah – “Drobė“
After the end of the public voting in the “Super-Final,” the big winners were Katarsis with the song “Tavo akys.”
In second place was Lion Ceccah with “Drobė,” and in third place was Liepa with “Ar mylétum?”.

Remember, Lithuania will perform in the first half of the second semi-final on May 15th.
