Sweden: Over 2.2 Million Viewers for the Third Semi-Final of Melodifestivalen 2025!

Last Saturday, the third qualifier of Sweden’s biggest music festival, Melodifestivalen, took place to determine the country’s representative for this year’s Eurovision competition.

A little over 2.2 million viewers tuned in to watch the third qualifier of Melodifestivalen 2025, showing a slight drop in viewership compared to 2024!

2,224,000 viewers watched the third qualifier of Melodifestivalen on SVT1, surpassing last week’s TV ratings in Sweden. However, this qualifier saw a drop of 338,000 viewers compared to the second qualifier, which attracted over 2.5 million viewers. It’s important to note that the figures reported by MMS only include TV viewers and not those following on SVT Play.

Next Saturday, Melodifestivalen continues with the 4th Qualifier, where six more contestants will battle for the two spots that lead directly to the grand final:
