Spain: Meet the hosts and the jury of Benidorm Fest 2024!
With the countdown to the first semifinal of Benidorm Fest 2024 in full swing, RTVE not only unveiled the breathtaking stage but also introduced the dynamic hosts and the formidable jury during a recent press conference at Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm.
Hosts to Elevate the Energy
Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Calderó, and Ana Pradas are set to grace the stage as the hosts of the third edition of Benidorm Fest. Their charismatic presence promises to add a special flair to the event. However, they are not alone in taking the spotlight.
In a surprising collaboration, Inés Hernand, co-presenter of “No sé de qué me hablas,” and Aitor Albizua, the upcoming host of “Cifras y Letras” on La 2, will join forces to present “La Noche del Benidorm Fest.” This post-semifinal program, airing live from Benidorm on January 30 and February 1, as well as the grand final on February 3, will provide an in-depth look into everything related to the festival.
Jury of Distinction
The jury for Benidorm Fest 2024 is nothing short of stellar, featuring a lineup of eight experts – four from Spain and four from the international stage.
Leading the charge as the spokesperson is the multitalented Beatriz Luengo, renowned for her roles in the iconic series “Un Paso Adelante” and her musical achievements, including two Latin Grammy Awards. Alongside her, the national jury comprises Guille Milkway, Ángela Carrasco, and Carlos Baute, while the international jury includes Lee Smithurst, David Tserunyan, Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen, and Nicoline Refsing.
Sneak Peek into the Captivating Stage
The anticipation for Benidorm Fest 2024 is not just about the dazzling personalities; the stage itself promises to be a visual spectacle. The main stage, spanning 581 m², boasts an oval design with a central circular area and side tunnels leading to the backstage. An impressive high-resolution LED screen at the center, movable elements, an elliptical arch, and various screens will elevate the visual dynamism of the performances.
On the opposite end, the Green Room and jury table will be housed on a platform of 475 m², incorporating a circular design that visually complements the main stage. The standing audience, occupying an area of 680 m² between the stage and the Green Room, adds to the immersive experience.
