Iceland: Söngvakeppnin 2025 odds just hours before the final
As Iceland gears up for Söngvakeppnin 2025, all eyes are on the latest bookmaker predictions for who might claim victory and represent the country at Eurovision. With the competition heating up, the current odds reveal an intriguing battle at the top while also shedding light on the underdogs who may still surprise audiences.
Leading the pack is Væb with their song “Róa”, currently holding a 37% chance of winning according to bookmakers. Betsson has set their odds at 2.4, while Cool Bet offers slightly higher at 2.6. This strong positioning indicates that Væb is the clear favorite at this stage, enjoying both a statistical advantage and likely strong support from bettors. However, their lead is not entirely unshakable, as the second-place contenders remain close behind.
Júlí & Dísa follow closely with their song “Fire”, boasting a 32% probability of winning. While their odds are slightly longer at 3 on Betsson and 2.8 on Cool Bet, they remain strong competitors and could still pull off a victory. The relatively narrow gap between them and Væb suggests that the final outcome is far from certain, and any shifts in public sentiment or performance quality could tip the balance.
Beyond the two frontrunners, the competition sees a significant drop in winning chances. Tinna and Stebbi Jak are both tied with a modest 9% probability of success. Tinna’s odds vary widely, sitting at 5 with Betsson and a much steeper 15 on Cool Bet, indicating some uncertainty around her chances. Meanwhile, Stebbi Jak’s odds stand at 8.5 with Betsson and 12 on Cool Bet, suggesting that while they are not out of the race, they would need a major boost to become serious contenders.
Further down the list, Bjarni Arason holds a 7% chance of winning, with odds of 17 from Betsson and a more optimistic 10 from Cool Bet. While his position suggests an uphill battle, fluctuations in betting patterns and public support could still play a role in his final standing. Similarly, Ágúst finds himself at the bottom with a 5% chance, and bookmakers appear skeptical of his prospects, offering odds of 17 from Betsson and a daunting 20 from Cool Bet.
